  • Haaretz, in Hebrew meaning the Land, typically referring to Eretz Israel, the Land of Israel. As a country approximately equal in size to the state of New Jersey, the international community seems to have an obsession with this tiny piece of land, holding almost half the world’s Jews. As if looking under a magnifying glass, evil eyes seem to be cast from every direction on the globe to the nascent state, shown as a beacon of light surrounded by darkness.
